Contemporary Art
The Abbey opens a dialogue between Heritage and Contemporary Art by having ‘artists in residences’, which encourages a strong relationship between the artist and local community: the projects allow for participation by the local community.
Murmures
Murmurs is a biennial event at Bon Repos. This exhibition builds a plastic identity around sound. The works, which are created ‘in residence’, use all medium: words, sounds, cries, arise, fall and rebound on the Abbey’s stones which ‘murmur’.

Atmospheres
Atmospheres is a contemporary journey linking five towns in the heart of Brittany. It creates a dialog between contemporary art, heritage, the canal, gardens and public spaces, that seeks to enlarge our understanding of the autumnal countryside. This is an affectionate encounter between eighteen artists and the local population. With a lot of enthusiasm the world of art and the rural community work together to present this exhibition.
